Join our fast growing international team that sits within the Map Platform organization and be part of the Platform UI team. You will contribute by creating tools that allow platform partners, for instance media companies, to efficiently utilize Nokia Maps on their services, shaping new ways of communication.

We are looking for an experienced professional with knowledge of the latest web technologies, with first class mastering of CSS and Javascript. You will work closely with designers to not only build user interfaces but provide ideas and experiment with what is possible. You like to work hard and help contribute to ensure projects are finished to a high standard. You are open-minded, flexible, used to working in a fast paced working environment, excited about fixing problems, and most importantly you are a team player.

Your skills and experience are:

• Experience with the core of our current technology stack: CSS, Javascript, jQuery, php, symphony, (Rails, Ruby a plus)

• Knowledge and practice of object-oriented Javascript programming

• Extensive experience as a professional engineer, building and maintaining web applications from concept to production

• Knowledge of latest web browser technologies

• Previous experience with Map APIs is highly advantageous

• Like to learn from & teach your new colleagues

• Excellent level of English, both verbal and written
